Matthew R. Bronge, OD Doctor Bronge is a graduate of UC Berkeley School of Optometry and has been in private practice for 15 years. He is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Berkeley with seven years of service on the faculty of this distinguished university. Dr. Bronge is proud to provide state of the art care to our growing community in the Brentwood area.
Dr. Bronge practices full scope optometry and manages laser refractive surgery. In fact, he had lasik on his own eyes on April 5, 2000. Now he plays soccer and baseball with his three children without the need for glasses or contact lenses.
Joyce R. Roberts, OD Doctor Roberts is a graduate of UC Berkeley School of Optometry with over 20 years of experience in private practice. Dr. Roberts is a member to the American Optometric Association and Alameda Contra Costa County Optometric Society.
Dr. Roberts joined Dr. Bronge and the Brentwood Eye Care staff in 1996. She loves working with children and seniors alike so she fits well with the group's philosophy of offering one stop eye care services, with contacts, glasses and treatment for eye disease, geared for the whole family.

Christina Atkinson, OD Doctor Atkinson is a graduate of UC Berkeley School of Optometry and has been in private practice in the Bay Area since 1995. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and the Alameda Contra Costa County Optometric Society.
Dr. Atkinson joined our staff in 2001 and is helping Brentwood Eye Care grow to meet the demand for the professional, quality care our office is known for. Her expertise includes Lasik evaluations and contact lenses as well as comprehensive eye exams for the whole family.
She enjoys scrapbooking, entertaining, boating and volunteering in her daughter's classroom.
Casey Wegenke, OD Doctor Wegenke has joined our practice August 2005 after relocating from Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor's in Secondary Education (Biology/Chemistry), and then obtained her Doctor of Optometry Degree at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California.
Dr. Wegenke's primary interests lie in the areas of pediatrics and vision therapy. Doctor Wegenke is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

Yvonne Barrett (left), A.B. O. C. - Office Manager, Certified Optician: We were thrilled when Yvonne joined the Brentwood Eye Care staff in May 2005. Yvonne is dedicated to keeping our patients satisfied and will ensure that your experience at Brentwood Eye Care is an amazing one . She is a current member of the American Board of Opticianry and makes continuing education a top priority for herself and the staff. Yvonne keeps the doctors busy and the staff enthusiastic. If you have any comments or concerns please bring them to her attention.
Leslie Roper (right) - Financial Specialist: Leslie has been employed by Brentwood Eye Care for over 9 years. She has a consistent, inherent knowledge of accounting which helps bring simplicity and understanding to our accounts receivable department. She takes a logical, straight forward approach to taking exceptional care of our patient accounts and insurance billing.

Ofelia Macaraig (left) - Optometric Assistant: Ofelia joined our practice in 2004. She brings over 12 years experience to Brentwood Eye Care as an Optometric Assistant. She works in a careful, methodical manner as she confidently guides you through the pre-testing procedures for your exam. She performs preliminary tests such as steriopsis (depth perception), color vision, blood pressure, and Optomap retinal photography. She also works as Front Desk Receptionist. She is biligual in Tagalog.
Jan Headrick (right) - Front Desk Reception and Contact Lens Technician: Jan joined the Brentwood Eye Care team in 2004. She has over 12 years experience in customer service. She brings professionalism to Brentwood Eye Care as she works with great dedication and thoroughness to meet the needs of our patients. Jan with her keen insight is qualified to answer all of your questions regarding the services we offer and is willing to provide you with the personal care you deserve.

Liz Vera (left) - Clinical Team Leader: Liz joined the Brentwood Eye Care team in 2004. As Clinical Team Leader she brings the outstanding ability of multi-tasking to a superior level. She is well informed and proficient in all areas of pre-testing, front desk operations and the optical dispensary department. With her excellent knowledge and continued desire to excel she is able to provide our patients with the professional and timely eye care they deserve and expect. She is bilingual in Spanish.
Amanda Fritts (right) - Frame Stylist and Frame Buyer: Amanda joined our practice in August of 2005. She brings over 7 years experience to Brentwood Eye Care as an Optometric Assistant. As frame buyer Amanda stands out among the rest as she brings Brentwood Eye Care to new heights with cutting edge eyewear in opthalmic and sun frames. She has a friendly, radiant personality and is sure to guide you through your next frame select in an effortless, competent manner.

Shannon Bell - Front Desk Reception and Office Assistant: Shannon has been employed by Brentwood Eye Care for over 2 years. Her fresh, friendly approach at the front desk is invaluable. She works in a meticulous manner as she assists Brentwood Eye Care with all functions at the front desk. Shannon takes patient care to a new level as we can always count on her to provide our patients with the sense of satisfaction and attentiveness that they've come to expect at Brentwood Eye Care.
